SUNDAY IN GUERNEVILLE THERE WILL BE A ROTARY BARBECUE IN THE LARK'S PARKING LOT FROM 1-7 FRIENDS OF THE RUSSIAN RIVER SKATEPARK WILL HOST A KIDS AREA AT THE ODDFELLOWS HALL AND AT DUSK THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS. HOPE TOP SEE YOU THERE----CARY OSTROFE

WE WON A FIRST PLACE TROPHY IN THE STUMPTOWN DAYS PARADE. THANKS TO ALL WHO SHOWED UP. ALSO THANKS TO THOSE WHO BROUGHT RAMPS AND RAILS.

NOW LET'S DO IT AGAIN IN THE FORESTVILLE PARADE. LET'S SHOW THE FORESTVILLE PEOPLE WHAT WERE ALL ABOUT.

SKATERS, KIDS ON BIKES, ROLLERBLADERS OF ALL AGES WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE PLEASE SHOW UP BEHIND CARR'S RESTRUANT IN FORESTVILLE AT 9:30 ON SATURDAY JUNE 7TH. WE WANT TO HAVE A SWARM OF PEOPLE.

Lets keep showing the people of the West County that there are a lot of skaters in this area and that we need a place to skate. We're going to enter the Stumptown parade this Saturday and hopefully we can get as many skaters as we had in the Christmas parade even more would be better. This time we will have a couple of ramps and some rails. Please show up at the parking lot across the street from Buck's restaurant on 4th St. in Guerneville at 10:30 a.m. The parade starts at 11:00. All you bring is you and your skateboard. Please tell everyone that you know. If you don't have a skateboard then bring your bike. If you know anyone that has a rail or a ramp, please call Cary at 869-3021-----see you there.

Thanks to all who attended and especially to those who helped at our skatepark fundraiser yesterday. Because of weather or whatever we didn't do so good (we might have came out even) so that's o.k. we will persevere. It was great to have so many kids out there who wanted to skate and there was great food and good music. In the future we will be smarter in planning our fundraisers and I know our list of supporters is growing .

Thanks to all who helped clean and paint the bridge last Saturday. It went well and the bridge looks a lot cleaner. We will finish painting the concrete handrails on the town side whenever we get the paint.

This next Tuesday April 29th we will be having a fundraiser at the Rainbow Cattle Co. We will be there between 6:00-8:00 with chili, cornbread and potato salad. Also we will have a raffle. So plan to come by for a while, have dinner, drinks, whatever, and help our cause .
